What you will learn?
There are many agencies teaching diving and it’s a bit like choosing a nice meal. You can buy from the street vendors who offer affordable food cooked on the spot, to the fast food services that prepare your food in minutes all the way to the highly recommended restaurants that greet you warmly, sit you down with good quality service and choice and after a great evening you walk away with a smile on your face and you know you’ll go back again.
I believe that whilst you will learn to use scuba equipment with most agencies, you will become a competent diver the DiveRAID way giving you the time you need to reach mastery of the various skills, especially buoyancy, required to ensure your journey into the diving world is safe, made with informed decisions and well supported by an agency that has Divers at its heart and soul.
With so much to chose from depending on your needs, wants, and of course time with us I would certainly recommend the followings.
Nervous/short of time/just not sure? Then you should partake in the Try Dive Session. This short introduction requiring very little study material allows you to breath under water for the first time in a nice safe swimming pool where you will learn the basic problem solving techniques for clearing masks and using the scuba equipment. After this your Instructor will take you for a shallow dive up to 12 meters depth across our fabulous reefs. This discovery is not a certification but will transition you to the next step if diving is for you…
Done the Try Dive/want a relaxed start/leaving in a couple of days? Well you are set for the Scuba Diver Course. You complete approximately half of the requirements towards the full Open Water Scuba Diver Course but there is no exam at this stage and you will quickly be enjoying some diving with a DiveRAID Professional at your side. You will earn a certificate and you can dive anywhere in the world up to 12 meters with a Dive Professional at your side. I hope you come back to see me…
Scuba Diver already/ Try Dive with plenty of time left/Want full certification? Lets do the Open Water course then. Four (4) Confined Water (pool) sessions and Four(4) Open Water sessions. Complete your free e-learning online and I will administer your exam as part of your course. Swim 200m and float for 10 minutes. Scuba divers have a shortened upgrade and probably finished their learning material already. Just the two pool dives left for you and 2 open water skills sessions. Once certified you can dive to 20m with a buddy anywhere you like. Of course I know we will see you again for more adventures including learning to dive deeper and to perfect diving skills or explore other interests such as buoyancy, wreck diving, drift diving, Nitrox diving and so much more!
