Water Temperature
Here you can check the annual average water temperature to help you decide on your thermal choices. Personally I am more than happy with rash guards or a shorty for most of the year and I wear a full 3mm during January-February or for tech dives. Diving below 18m will experience thermoclines from time to time.
Currents and Tides
The currents can be strong around Puerto Galera depending on the tides and the moon phases. This can be fun for more seasoned divers whereas more novice divers will prefer the milder dive sites. We will always choose a dive site based on the diving levels of our divers. Drift diving is a must though (why waste time finning into a current)
